1928 Buick Model 24

Buick was founded in 1903 by David Dunbar Buick, a Scottish industrialist. Later the Buick Motor Company was bought by William C. Durant as part of a new company called General Motors. The manufacturer proved itself a trailblazer in the early 1920s when it introduced four-wheel brakes. During this time Buick was becoming known as the car of choice for kings, and political leaders. British royalty favored Buicks and demonstration vehicles were being circulated worldwide. From the rare Goddess radiator cap/ hood ornament to the exquisite headlamps and wooden spoke wheels you can see why this vehicle became so popular.
